A LOOPY GOOFY WITH A GUN

Contributed by Steeleyes on Thursday, 3rd July 2003 @ 01:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Tell it three times and it’s true
It’s so easy to hoodwink you
And telling you his "truth"
Is Goofy with a gun

Seven out of ten of you still believe
Iraq was connected to Nine Eleven
The fact that there is no link
Doesn’t even make you blink

Can you be surprised you seem so dumb
Outside your own sad world
You in your ignorant cocoon
As Bush lies are unfurled

There is not ONE piece of evidence
That links Saddam to those towers
But you believe your goofy Bush
Because he told you hour on hour

And do you know that no link was ever found
Between Iraq and Al Qaeda?
Does this even register
Behind your brain-free fact-fader?

You want some sense from 9/11
You want some justification
So you’re willing to see kids killed
And the destruction of a nation

What a sad bunch of ***holes
You really truly are
To countenance this slaughter
This scar on scar on scar

Say "America" and see the world run
You're a loopy Goofy with a gun
