hold my breath

Contributed by tinka_belle on Thursday, 3rd July 2003 @ 09:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

hold my breath
count to ten
daddy no
not again

hold my breath
count to nine
promise me
this will be the last time

hold my breath
count to eight
daddy you
i dont want to hate

hold my breath
count to seven
daddy you wont
go to heaven

hold my breath
count to five
when you're inside me
ive no where to hide

hold my breath
count to four
if only there was
a lock on my door

hold my breath
count to three
daddy why are you
doing this to me

hold my breath
count to two
my innocence stolen
stolen by you

hold my breath
count to one
your little girls
not having fun

close my eyes
start again
hold my breath
and count to ten

Brilliant! is what comes to mind
as a poet I understand too well
the emotional power words can have
and this poem is able to arouse that.
My encouragement, I see talent here.

Count to twenty, you've had plenty.
Now it's nineteen, hang on pine tree
make it eighteen, why you hate me?
oops it's seventeen, you are heavenly
Sixteen, Sixteen, You could have been, been.
Finally Fifteen, you could use a lift teen

Stopstopstop..it's up to you, mon amie
