What's the point?

A lifetime spent on happy thoughts
comes crashing down on the cold floor.
Dreams that sometimes were all I had
are ripped apart by a cold hand.
My love, my passion and my zeal
are all remembered by a tear.
My only dreams and goals in life
are now the sources of my strife
as they're torn out of my hands
and handed off to someone else.

First hand deliverance means you write the poem
as it flows through the mind, that is the real deal.
The point is when the only expectation from oneself
is not to have any expectations, nothing's destroyable.
I myself has had many dreams shuttered but still
dreaming. Human nature I guess, good read. |
