Content to tear off rose buds
then crush them in his hands,
Just so...
he crushed my heart and soul...
( Poor wretch, whom understands. )
Footnote:
This poem ,in past, has been misunderstood so here is the true meaning of it:
This poem was written in the late 70's about a very controlling person who in fact stifled my creativity and crushed my spirit by not allowing me...to be...me.
My rose buds were simply my ideas ,my expressions,which he crushed constantly.
Needless to add....that person has been out of my life for many long years now...
