I come to you again.
My heart is fearful
Of a love it can't deny.
My hand reaches out
Timidly, to touch your face,
To trace the form
Of those beloved lips.
Your eyes burn me...
You don't love me!
Infinite times
I've brought my yearning lips to yours,
In desperate fantasy,
In forbidden dreams...
Infinite times
I have confessed to you
The weakness of my soul...
And infinitelly,
The dreams bring me to tears.
You reject my love,
And you watch me fade away,
like a vision in a dream.
So, I've come to you again.
My heart is terrified
Of a passion it cannot overcome.
My hands, outstretched,
Offer you my life,
But if you deny me once again,
I will fade away forever,
Like a forgotten vision
From a dream.

I could weep if I wasn't already dried up, I remember a love long time lost |
