Copy and paste

Contributed by azzouz on Sunday, 29th June 2003 @ 10:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I wrote some words that came from my heart
If you wanted to know me, my poems were the place to start
I shared them in pride for all the world to see
Not knowing that someone would copy and paste me
I tried to let the few times slide
untill I saw your name instead of mine
You stole my words to pass as your own
I guess you thought I would have never known
Copy and paste is an evil crime
it makes me angry in no time
So before you hit that control C
Make sure those poems DON'T belong to me
And if you continue to copy like you do
Be sure to give credit where credit is due!

Wow somebody is stealing your poetry?
They are copyrighted on this site,so if someone has taken an already copyrighted poem you have a legal case in defending yourself. And your poetry is really nicely done!
You deserve the credit for a job well done!!!
But don't be discouraged. Keep on posting,
YOURS in YOUR name!!!!!!! And we'll all
reap the rewards!!!!
angel always........godspeed...joni

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
