Colors so bright
green, red and blue
tiny little beaks
as they wake with the dew
The fluttering of wings
as they glide through the air
such gracefullness they are
without any cares
Darting through flowers
as fast as they fly
affraid that the others
might drink them up dry
From dawn till dusk
they are on the go
humming around
putting on a good show
Then night fall comes
and they lay to rest
waiting for the next day
so they can leave their nest

Very nicely done, I could almost hear the humming.
A beautiful write. |
