Be vigilant my friend
The battle was never fought
The children were never safe
You'll regret nothing in the end

Being right
Being fair
Saying things inside your head
I'll learn
One day
And sleep soundly in your bed

Be here my friend
I need you more every day
Don't think you understand
The party always comes to you

I can see
Your face
In every stranger I meet
No more lies
I will seek
People to fill your vacant seat

Behave my friend
You do not see the truth
You do not see the thoughts
Or the tears with your name
