oops

what hurts so bad,
is the constant thought,
that i'll never return,
what i hate is i have to grow-up
I have to enter the adult world,
i have to change.
I long for yesterday,
where fairytales were all that mattered,
and where everything seemed to be a long ways away.

Although an adult you may become
You do not have to totally give up on fairytales
We learn to accept responsibilty
But we do not have to give up on the child within

Your poem strikes a chord in all adults
They had to grow with varied results
You look at life exactly right
Fairy Tales should be kept in sight.
