Soltice Moon

Topic: SadPoetry

Phantom where are you
I know you were here just a moment ago
The time we had together just wasn't enough
I am alone again to cry in the night
My black wings mirror my mood in flight
My calls again go unanswered
I fly through the night searching
Looking for the traces you left behind
My Phantom how could you leave me so soon
The pillow where you slept is cold even in June
Again in my heart there is a deep hole
It is the biggest piece which I gave to you
I know you will keep it safe but, I miss it and you
You left behind a mask and a rose
A note with a meaning only you and I know
I will again keep my vigil in the long nights ahead
I cannot sleep, too many thoughts are filling my head
My emotions are confused and I'm not sure how to feel them
I am happy that you were here
I am sad now you're gone
I am hurt you left again, too soon
I am relieved that you will be back again with the coming of the soltice moon
When you sleep dream of me
I will be the dark shadow in flight, you see
Coming to visit and bring you peace
I will wrap my wings around you
In hopes that it will give your heart ease
You will be home again soon
By the light of the soltice moon

As I wonder where you are my love, I have only a photograph of your face, and the residue of your kisses left on my lips. In 52 days I shall return. Stay strong for me, fore I will do the same. I love you. " A Piece Of My Heart " was left behind.

The Phantom
