The girl in the window
You thought it was me
But it's just an image
You think you see
Your eyes play tricks
They decieve you
But all the while
You think it's true
Could it really be the girl
who loved you so
The one you played
The one you let go
So you look harder
But you still can't see
The girl in the window
Who could she be
You open the window
And call out her name
She smiles then laughs
She knows you're the same
You watch her as she
Waves goodbye
For she doesn't want you
To see her cry
The pain you caused her
What you put her through
You would cry too
If you only knew
The girl in the window
Really was me
And I love you still
But you'll never see
