I’m torn in two
And don’t know what to do
My brain says one way
But my heart takes over today
My brain screams in vain
While my heart goes insane
When one loves the other hates
What’s with all these fates
One’s stronger today
But the other pushes through some way
Which should I listen to
I don’t know what to do
Go toward my brother
Or go after my lover
I can’t control my mind
But still my heart is kind
When will this madness end
And will it cause me my good friend
There’s nothing I can do
To get through to you
Explain to me why
It causes me to cry
When I promised myself to be tough
It’s too much to bear; I’ve had enough

This might be kind of a weird thing to comment on, but I really like your rhymes. Vain and insane especially. They just make it flow really well. Great job!
