a hidden hurting fear

I hurt myself to see their reaction
I hurt others to make myself feel better
I've wanted out many times
obviously not bad enough
I hide my fears with obsessions
I find their fears and I use it against them
I've been scared now and then
my fears didn't kill me yet
they will be the death of me
I'm sure of it
they all know my fear
although they don't know it
It's that I'm hurting inside
I try not to show it

When I read this , I had this uncontrollable urge to hug you. This poem totally leaves you open, you left nothing out. A fantastic write. |
