The radiant dawns in the far of sky
Spread out their garments for thee!
The nectar yielding cows of sun
Milk their pure treasures for thee!
Thou hast let loose the breezes
From the womb of heavens
Ocean of mercy thou art, O Lord,
Bestower of boons to all thy children
Under thy law seven regions of universe are there
Thou transcend the heaven and earth
Thine are the lights and Thine the Sun
All your names, O God, are worthy of adoration
Obeisance and prayers to thee!
Give sight to our eyes,
Sight to our bodies, so they can see!
May we see the world as a whole and in detail
O God, verily a hundred autumns lie before us
Within which you cause the decay of our bodies
Within which the sons become fathers
Don’t break in the middle
The course of our fleeting life!
O adorable Lord, let not my thread of life be broken
While I am contemplating on your glory
Nor the measure of my work is cut out before the time.
Break not O God our ancestral loving friendship
Being one with thy deep knowledge and a sage
Like the over spreading cloud, old age impairs the form
Before that evil comes near, protect me!
O God, may we be ever youthful in thy friendship!
May you lengthen our days on earth
So that we may live in thy friendship
Give freedom for our bodies!
Give freedom for our life!
O God, bestow on us the best treasures
The efficient mind and spiritual luster
The increase of wealth and the health of bodies
The sweetness of speech and the fairness of days!!

But God is best friend to everyone.
In fact, HE is mine too. So I feel possessive of HIM. |
