Across the River Styx He'll Row.

Grief
|
Wasting away on his warped bed,
Lays a great man, the family head.
All are awaiting a certain deep sleep,
Slumber so peaceful one has to weep.
Throughout our lives he’s always been strong,
To see him break down has got to be wrong.
Alas this is so, and soon he must go,
Across the river Styx he’ll soon row.

You've done a fine job of imagery,,
--------------------------------------
You dignify an awful time
you do it well and make it rhyme
sad may be, you make it free
for all to read and join with thee... |
