What Is The Color Of Happiness?

Contributed by DeeDeeLeeChinn on Saturday, 21st June 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

If happiness were a flower
What would it's color be
Could we hold it forever
For all the world to see
Or would it pass us by
Like a ship in a deep blue sea

It remains a mystery
No one can really know
But if you look real hard
Maybe you have something
For all the world to show

If happiness were a flower
Would it's power be seen
And what color would that power be
Like the earth so vastly green

I don't really know
But I am glad I shared this with you
'Cause no matter what color happiness is
I always see it when I think of you

You cheer me up when I am blue
You color my skies with hints of pink
You always listen to what I think

You give me hope for a bright new day
So I will thank you for all the colors
In every way
Shades of happiness through all you say

The color of happiness is not only one color
But many
Everyday it comes to life
Through all that we do and all that we strive

And much happiness is from
Thanking God That I Am Alive!!!!!!
