The Glass Ceiling

Man looks down at me from planes,
Penthouses and even clouds...
I look straight ahead at few,
And as I glance at the glass ceiling
I realise I may never reach floor two.

Luckily, glass can shatter,
(Though not easily from this side)
So unless I can find a razor sharp mind
I may have to swallow, digest my pride.
