You question me
You look at me strange
You just ignore everything
When I need you most
You cry at night
And ask where you went wrong
And why my daughter is so different
You ask if I do drugs
You think I’m lying
You say you care
But you’d choose the other side
Why can’t you believe
You have no faith in me
Why can’t you let me make my own mistakes
Why do you shelter me from the world
Why do you hide me from the truth
Why can’t you just be honest
I can take it really I can
But you don’t have faith I can make it
You’ve caused me pain in the past
But helped me through the rest
Sometimes I think you care too much
But you still don’t have faith in me
You snoop through my things
You ask me thousands of questions
You try to spend time with me
But I refuse the offer
I need my space
But I need you too
When I scream
You’re never there
When I cry
You get too scared
When I’m glad you’re my mom
You’re no where to be found
