please please don't hurt me
but oh god don't desert me
i love the way you smile at me secretly
i'm safe when you clasp my hand silently
you know i'm yours when you kiss me so tenderly
i melt in your arms when you hold me close
devoted blue eyes, so true - funny that underneath
all that exists is deceit
so many lifeless nights
i have lain here and cried
for this love that will never
come to life, be mine
i crave you more than you'll ever know
but if you don't want me, please let me go
can't carry on like this
you never let me know
don't pretend to have feelings
you'll never really show
i feel the need to breathe, to leave
to save myself and fly with speed
i love you
even after all this anguish
but this type of feeling
is not worth the grieving
somehow, i have to leave
