Moonstruck

Contributed by vincy on Thursday, 19th June 2003 @ 07:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Loonely vibes have reached my soul
sucking my senses right from within.
I've known the full Moon to be potent
plays with me like a puppet master
my ghosts are performing a mystical dance
my passions have been awakened all at once
driving me rapidly into a deep, crazy trance.
Surrendering to the warewolf is an easy task
If I could only let go, and drop this mask
of being whoever I may think I am.
I have moved in with the tide to offer my side
of this story where I was taken for a ride
which has driven me into this darker side
where all sorts of lunatics are waiting in hide.
All this going through my mind, what's more
Moon waves are crushing right on my shore.

Oh I like this one!!! (I'm a werewolf fanatic and this poem is really good!) The conflict of emotions are shown in a very pictoresque way. Great writing!
