For the very first time,
I'm feeling, the nearness of you.
This grand glorious feeling
Is just to good to be true.
You put your arms around me,
And held me so close and tight.
I could feel your strong, warm body,
Everything seemed oh, so right.
Two hearts, longing for this moment,
But, thought it could never be.
For these few precious moments
You'll belong to me.
Since you belong to another,
I know I don't stand a chance,
But my heart will always remember,
When you asked me for this dance.
