Never knew you noticed me
You never seemed to pay much attention
But I always watched you
From the corner of my eye
Secretly becoming bewitched
By your down-home charm
Weeks passed us
Before we saw each other again
Carrena was getting so tired
Of me talking about your crystal blue eyes
That cool Thursday night
The heavens parted
And the angels sang
When you quietly
Whispered in my ear
How you had watched me
From the corner of your eye
Secretly becoming bewitched
By my sweet-girl charm

This poem is especially appealing
because it shows that magic.
