just like a black rose you are hard to find
left in the dead of things left far behind
forget the road it wont lead you there
empty and full of old repair
to a place we used to see
hearts are broken forever broke free
promises and words are spoken
but without the real emotion
trail of tears runs deep
river of lies may drown your sleep
blue skies are no longer
pain sinks in much stronger
phantom you have become
no more or less to some
your petals fade and blow
thinking on what you should know
mind is feverish with the madness
eating at your heart with great sadness
long extinct from long ago
would have survived if you would show
but now we are a thing of the past
just like a black rose not meant to last

| I really like this.It has a darkness to it but is still very pretty because the black rose would be a beautiful sight to behold..Great!!! |
