As you watch the sunrise, the same as the one we shared,
I am near.
As you watch the sunset, as we did ever so often,
I am near.
As you live your dreams, just as I knew you would,
I am proud.
As you ride upon a horse, and fly without wings,
I am watching.
As you run with the wind, across green fields,
My spirit runs with you.
As you gaze up at the night sky,
I am near.
But only as you lay down to sleep
Am I there.
