This is the land,
Where time stood still,
Where hopes are pulled down,
And feelings drown in quicksand.
So I will go quietly,
I'll exept your rules,
I'll follow you down,
I'll become empty like all those other fools.
But I don't believe in you,
I won't stay with you in the end,
Even though you know I will,
I just say things which I won't follow through.
Just to make you love me more....

| what you mean in my poem? well it was a poem about playing people (lovers). I would play along with there game even thou i didn't like them just so they would love me more..Does that make sense? probably not...i'm wierd..heh..those days are behind me anyway..so it doesn't matter..*smiles* |

Why is the poem called "Grand Silent System"?? Is it from the name of the band from Melbourne, Australia called "The Grand Silent System" who have an album called "Gift Or A Weapon"?
