Hello
Each day my heart
Waits quietly for a word
Not grandiose or profound
But oh so beautiful when heard
When you speak it to me
Another day is complete
All the birds sing songs
Of love so sweet
Today had a purpose
Tomorrow has a plan
When you speak one simple word
To a simple man
Such a small word
Makes my heart race at it's sight
Bathing my spirit
In love and delight
Along with it comes
Hope as a fellow
The word I need so much ?

So true that such a simple word can lift your heart to a flutter! I make it a habit to say hello,
to all, just to make their day better!!!
