We've had our fights and passed them through,
Please always know that I love you,
See a mothers touch is all I need,
I was born from your seed,
You gave me life and held me tight,
When I cried throughout the night,
You nurished and fed me so I could grow,
For your love its thanks I show,
Now I'm older and growing up,
I don't drink from a bottle but rather a cup,
You've always helped me to understand,
Sometimes I listened, sometimes I ran,
I'm sorry for burdens that hurt you so,
I promise you that I'll never go,
I've gone through things that hurt me to,
In the end I always came right back to you,
Now I realize its a mothers touch,
That I need so very much.

You are a very wise poet, your parents must be proud of you.
A fine write. |
