looking at the world as it is today,
through the eyes of a mere child.
laughter may come a long long way,
rather it be strong or mild.
they see the simplest things in life,
yet its hard for you to see.
but to see it through the eyes of a child,
are the tenderest things to be.
you may not see the things they do,
with their hearts beyond compare.
yet through the eyes of a child,
the love is always there.
their love comes in all many shapes,
and, i cannot say what they see.
but through the eyes of a child,
its all the same it seems.
