Losing Alice

Contributed by Feelin_Like_A_Sadfellow on Sunday, 15th June 2003 @ 04:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Following those (tiny) prints
Giving chase to the one with ears
Alice lost herself in wonderland
Looking for some truth
To a world full of deceit (lies)

Chorus
No point in asking questions
You’ve got to go find
The answers on your own
(And get lost in wonderland)
fall a little to figure out
how to walk through
this wavering world

Looking for answers from that
Jester cat, only led to more questions
Giving merely condescending answers
Transcending lies way beyond truth

Waking up from wonderland
Find your nightmare in reality
And dreams lost in fantasies
Losing hope of ever seeing
Days with clear answers
Leaving behind cloudy questions
