Bluffing

It's hard to fantasize,
those days for us are over.
The days when love was the only thing on our minds,
two hearts learning to live together as one.
It's devistating to believe you thought it was just for fun.
You had me fooled,
Though I tried to play it cool.
Our dreams were shattered,
and to you it never really mattered.
The feelings I thought we were sharing,
to you was a shameful caring.
I thought we would be together for life,
I longed to be your wife.
You hid behind a snearing desguise,
of a hatred that was only my demise.
You broke my heart into a million pieces,
yet you walked away feeling nothing.
I thought you were true with everything you'd say and do,
little did I know...You were only bluffing.
