Wretched Existance

Contributed by Darien on Saturday, 14th June 2003 @ 07:25:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I sit in my room
Brooding with madness
Giving myself to pain
Aggrivated by sadness

Fear of life
It breeds nothing but sorrow
Fear of death
Would I still be here tomorrow

My true fears
Only my existence
Giving over to insanity
Lacking motivation or persistance

I see the people around me
And realize I am two in one
One needs to interact
The other wishing to be shunned

Back into my room
To let my thoughts tear at me
Clearly seeing people
Who taunt and laugh at me

No doubt of paranoia
But unwilling to accept
Not going to lose my fight
Not giving in yet

Everyone's against me
They try to bring me down
My back against the wall
Facing that laughing sound

Onslaughted again
Causing so much more fear
Can't leave myself open
Withdrawing from what I hold dear

My mind is my real enemy
Always leading me on with tricks
It has that evil function
Sentience, it thinks

So then here I'll sit
Staring into the world
Always the outsider
My future is foretold

This wretched existence
Is too much to bear
Slipping even further
Into the depths of despair
