A New Day

I can feel the night advancing
Though the sun is shining bright.
And I know it won't be long
Before the fading of the light.
But I will not be afraid,
For I've danced in the dark before,
And I believe that each time one closes
There'll be another open door.
I will keep on believing
And dancing in the wind
For there's always another melody
And a song for each that ends.
I will keep on singing,
Writing words up in the sky,
Watching for a new day dawning
Over that mountain high.
