My Angel

I wake in the morning with the sun in my eyes,
A new day arises no longer hearing my cries,
I've taken the chance to start once again,
With strength on my side my happiness this time I defend,
No longer taking only what I can get,
Won't sacrifice myself now my mind is now set,
Won't settle for anything now only the best,
This obsticle I face is life's ultimate test,
If I make it through I'll show I am strong,
Show them my strength and prove them all wrong,
Wrong to believe this would shatter my will,
They should have known my soul they can't kill,
It still has some fight somewhere this I know,
I'll get through this smiling I can prove it I'll show,
I'll show them what fate is and where it can lead,
I'll show them how far I can go it wasn't through greed,
The only thing helping to carry me through,
There's only one reason my angel that's you.

I enjoy your poetry very much.
You write about everyday life, and you bare your soul for everyone to see. that in itself is a hard thing to do.
You have a lot of talent so keep it up.
