Never Will Be

Sometimes I love you with all my heart,
And other times I can't stand you,
I cry for those times you were almost mine,
And I cry for the memories we left behind,
But now it's time for the pain to fade,
And for the misery to leave me,
I can love you,
And you can be my friend,
But I know that I never want it to be more,
I smile at you,
Laugh at your jokes,
I just need to remember,
About those times I was in love,
The times I was obsessed,
I can't be any longer,
My feelings for you can never grow more than friendship,
I am no longer allowd to want you,
It hurts me too bad,
And it shoves the knife too far in my back,
Until then my love....
