I can never find the words,
Or know exactly what to say
I always beat around the bush
It’s just my silly way.
Sometimes I find it hard
To express the way I feel
For fear that the other person
Isn't being real
So when it seems a I'm a little hesitant
Saying what’s on my mind
It’s nothing that you've done
But a fear of being blind
Not being able to see
What lies in our road ahead
And praying it’s not a dream
As I lay down to go to bed
I know you feel the risk is high,
To ever love again
And you need your aching heart
To take time and slowly mend
So patiently I’ll wait
Giving you strength to heal
All along showing you a love
A love that’s finally real.
