Celebrity

So you think
You've the tude
Of youthful Miss Spears

And you think
You're as wild
As little Miss Aguileers

So you think
You can writhe
With the beat of any drum

Just because
You've been told
That you have J'Lo's bum

You can act
Just as sweet
As Cathy Zeta J.

But your games
A young Madonna
Too tired wouldn't play

So spoiled
As a child
Now desperate to impress

You're a snob
Take a look at
How you acted in that dress

You would love
So very much
To be inside celebrity

But who can see
How bright you shine
No, not even me

Displaying yourself
As always being
Somewhere in Vogue

But I'd like just
To tell you dear
You ain't no Miss Minogue

Dean,
I think that this is very good, and well written. I really enjoyed reading it.

Unakeseveer, this piece of poery really clicked in me. Why are people so into appearances, appearances these days?

And also ever notice how rich people tend to look down on others with smaller paychecks or poorer families? I had many bad experiences with such families..especially mine.

My cousin, although I am older than her, is quite disrespectful of us mostly because she's richer than we are (her parents, that is) and therefore doesn't mix much with us. I'm also shocked at how she mixes about with the wrong company (she actually ran away at one time) and behaves rudely as if all the world does is OWE her a living.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
