To call one Sane

Contributed by Darien on Tuesday, 10th June 2003 @ 03:25:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Crashing through into tomorrow
Breaking the bonds that hold
Restraining me from madness
And the impurities I hold

The scum and filth that infect my thoughts
The ruination of my brain
Through past years and endless fights
Just to be called sane

But why should I try
And what can be called sane
Maybe I'm the one that's right
And all of you are to blame

Whatever the cause of my mental state
It's mine to keep controlled
And surely I will or at least should
Because that is what I'm told

I liked this enjoyed the image of you breaking through your bonds. Hang in there hope to see more from you.

Great write, and besides, "sane" is a matter of opinion. It's all perspective. To an insane person, sane people are insane and insane people are sane. so who cares? haha, well written, luv ya lotz-Lisa
