why i need you

I need you for your strength,
That's what helps me go the extra length.
I need you because your strong,
Even if I don't know whats right or wrong.
I need you because you taught me to forgive,
And showed me how to really live.
I need you because your always there,
Even if what I need isn't always fair.
I need you so I never wander far,
And I am me, because of who you are.
I need you to see what i can't see,
And to always show me what I can be.
I need you to be my guiding light,
Even if our path isn't always right.
I need you because you do the things I never would,
And you taught me to do the ones I should.
I need "you" because without that I'm not blessed,
Plus your better than the rest.
I need you because your mom,
And the day I quit needing you will never come.
