My Letter To No One

Dreaming of days that I could never grasp
Tomorrows breath held as a moment changes everything
No one saved the dignity for whispers
Laying lifeless as though trapped by fear
And its one more tear and I won’t be here anymore
Watching and waiting as lily’s of darkness overcome
Pleading eyes that could never understand
Hesitated to try as fear of the future
Whispered words were far too weak
Nor could the night sky be gentle
Tears of frusteration cry out to you
Convinced only due to its weakness
Please won’t someone help?
Targets that were hit accurately
And persuaded to no longer have the will to fight
Its so late into the night now
Can’t be saved, hate to say that its too late
I don’t want to die this way
But it’s the only thing that I can see
