Is It Still There?

I don’t want to believe it
But there’s something inside
It makes me cry
And I feel depressed

I beat and slap myself many times
I repeat in my head that it’s not real
Then I pause
Is it still there?

Buried deep within me
It’s still alive
I want it out
I don’t want to feel it anymore

If this is true love,
Then why does it make me cry?
