I'm finally safe
Buried my past
'Cause
It kept coming back
Reminders of the girl I used to be
Your love and friendship healed that broken girl
When you were mine
And only mine to love
You're gone
Swept away in your own whirlwind
In love you devote yourself
And I don't know
If I can handle that
But
I know I have to, so I try
Unexpected emotions
Bring sudden ideas
Big changes
New thoughts
He wants me
Needs me
And he knows
What it feels like
To want
To need
To love
My love
Is my passion
My infatuation
But I wonder
You don't understand the extent of my love
Or what I feel for you
Is this all part of my affliction?
