Another night of peaceful
dreams.
Easy conscience so it seems.
Close my eyes and drift away.
I'll be back another day.
To live and lose, to win and gain
To live a life echoed with shame.
Easier it is to bear
When the shadows are not there
Simple mind with simple dreams
hides complex thoughts
not what it seems.
