Consider if together you and me,
Did walk hands held along a distant shore.
For when I’m with you this is what I see,
You steal my breath, my thoughts, and so much more.

I lose myself again inside your eyes,
Smiling inside your words with me connect.
Your lashes flutter just like butterflies,
There is so much I can learn from you yet.

Alas it seems you’re far away from me.
For though I try in vain to understand.
A mystery you still remain to be.
Just like a message written in the sand.

Yet for you my feelings are more clear,
Inside my heart I’ll always hold you dear.
