Lost in my fears

Contributed by youngpoet1989 on Friday, 6th June 2003 @ 08:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Aimlessly staring into the dark abyss
Hopelessly drowning in a pool of tears
Locked in a room of blackness
Curled up in a corner lost in my fears
Trapped in the darkness
Only a peek of light shines on me
Lost in a void of nothingness
waiting to be set free
Harnessed in my mind
trying to make these haunting
visions go away
All my memories have gone blind
I want to break free
but I'll never see the day
I've fallen to the ground
and I've cried all my tears
I am no where to be found
because I'm lost in my fears.

You never lose all your fears they are a natural part of your survival kit. Part of your experience that alerts you to danger.
Oh yes they are overpowering you now on occaisions but the more you go through only to find you eventually emerge non the worse the more you will be able to put them behined you..

Of course if you can't you will go completely insane

How long have you been like this?
Have yo sought advice or help. Nobody can get through this life entirely on their own. Remember our natural context is part of a tribe.
