opened eyes peeled back
expressing themselves
singing songs with no definition
resenting everyone who says we cant
youth gets mistaken for stupidity
more times than not
rash behavior instigates anger
sparks laughter
in the hearts of us stupid creatures
as long as we dont sleep alone
as long as we spend summer under stars
then we'll never let

Great venting .... good poem Kenny - it's so true about the young and how they get treated.
Believe it or not my Mum tells me that when you are old people mistake old age for stupidity as well - she gets really riled about it. So I guess we should really enjoy the middle years somehow. ;-) Jan
