Yesterday, everything seemed so wonderful
Yesterday, our bond couldn’t have been stronger
But then came today
And it all went away

Why can’t things be the way they use to be?
I long for those simpler times
Why can’t you see-
-That I still love you?

But that was yesterday,
And this is today
