((Mend Me))

Contributed by deadly_blaZe on Wednesday, 4th June 2003 @ 05:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I hate loving you
but have no regrets at all.
It wasn’t until recently
our relationship took a fall.

Everything was wonderful
Everything was fine.
Until the day you looked at her
Until then you were mine.

My heart lay in pieces
Scattered across the floor
I don’t know what to do
This never happened before.

I loved you more than anything
I always put you first
I never thought id see the day
the day you made me hurt.

Eventually ill have to realize
That all things come to an end.
But also I have to realize
My heart may never mend.

I need some kind of adhesive
Some special kind of glue
To put back my heart
That was broken by you.

i don't see why this is on the 200 most unread poems,i happen to think the list is stupid! I bet alot of other people feel the same way!! I just happen to think it's a great poem,no matter what anyone else says!!!!
Keep on writing,& don't let some stupid list have any effect on you,YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES!!!!!!!!
