I adore thee my dearest one

Contributed by venkat on Tuesday, 3rd June 2003 @ 07:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: PoemsonBeauty

You are the lady of beauty and splendor
You are the goddess of love and happiness
Always seated on a lotus
In the milky ocean of my heart
Donning the splendorous robes of gold
Woven by shining stars of galaxies
Thou art the mother of creation and
Thy face shines like the orb of a full moon
I adore thee in my heart and offer thee hymns
Of devotion for obtaining thy mighty boons
I remember thee always and impelled by thy light
Keeping thy orders on my head according to thy will
I act and worship thy lotus feet with flowers of love
I became thy devotee, thy servant and thy cosmic vehicle
Granter of great felicity and all fortunes art thou Om Shriyam
Granter of all auspicious things through thy love Om Shriyam
Granter of glorious hymns winning the worlds Om Shriyam
Granter of wealth and prosperity art thou Om Shriyam
Granter of wisdom and splendor I long for Om Shriyam
Thou art the supreme light and cause of all creation
Thou art the divine love for sustentation of universe
Thou art the mighty power that exists every where
I adore thee my goddess of life and happiness
I adore thee my goddess of love and beauty
Let me possess thy heart of love as
A child in your blissful embrace
Let me taste thy milk of grace
In my heavenly trance

The heart of shriya? I love the way you wrote it to form that shape - but it is perfect, because you speak of this goddess living inside your heart. I envy you so, for being so filled with love and happiness - to reach a place like that is where I want to be. Beautiful poem venkat .... sincerely Jan
