Inside a Love Lost Soul
Fire burning in the young mans mind,
The flames engulf the young mans soul.
His burning heart fails in its angered bind,
His flaming body not completely whole.
He feels the pain deep inside of him,
Flames drip from her words like wildfire.
Her tongue the dagger, his ears the victim,
Her calm voice backs him onto the pyre.
The clouds open up and the rain soon falls,
His flames extinguish, her words disappear.
The young man wavers, to heavens soft calls,
He strains to hear the soft voice in his ear.
The flames ignite as heaven cries in pain,
The world goes black as he cries out in vain.
