Old Geezers, Self-Pleasers

Contributed by norm on Monday, 2nd June 2003 @ 06:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

There are things I really hate,
Things that sting and squeak and grate,
These are bad, thay make me sad,
but nothing like a patronate.

A patronizing older person,
makes my life surely worsen,
by the seen and by the been
Makes me want to start acursin'.

One old gee has seen the Zepplin,
One old gee remembers peplin,
I start to blaze, I'm in a daze
When they speak of Charlie Cheplin.

Sure, he's wrong, he's almost forty,
Tells of Sahl, whose first name's Morty,
You can't expect, with brain neglect,
They even remember being naughty.

"When I was a boy", starts the bore,
I'm sure he's gonna bore some more,
If I could see, a coming gee,
I'd rush outside and shut the door.

Oopsy-dee, Oh, Pardon, please,
I see now where I got that wheeze,
I guess I grew, and never knew,
Into one of these awful geez.
